  13. My usr external 14.4 Sportster works great with DOS modem software, and 
  14. also with the windows/accessories/terminal program, but with other windows 
  15. software the tr light doesn't come on (only the cs light), and any 
  16. attempt to use the modem results in "modem not responding" type commands.
  17. I have tried changing ports, IRQ's, data transfer rates, and other 
  18. parameters but without success. Anyway I think the problem isn't with 
  19. those things, because in "terminal" both modem and mouse work fine.
